The Junction also has a group called Young Ambassadors who are young people from Cambridge. The Young Ambassadors have helped planned and had meetings to create a more youthful experience and atmosphere. It started in March 2009 and has since made a positive start, they have worked with Architecture graduates to design a new front Foyer for the Junction building and they've also started a Summer Intensive programme.
Along side these they have also put up young artists work in Cambridge shops which have been made redundant. I placed several sketches in ther Mr Shoe shop next to Market Square.
This Interaction with the junction is much like our partnership with Simon. It's a chance for students to work with profesionals at the junction.

Strawberry Fair FilmFestival
Oncea year Strawberry Fair, A local Cambridge fair, sets up a film festival in which young and local film makers and others around the country submit their own short films and get them shown at evening, in 2010 however with the cancellation of the fair the local council has agreed to host the short film festival now known as “ Strawberry shorts Film Festival” as part of their “The Big Weekend” where the festival will be held on Parkers Piece in the centre of Cambridge.
